    POSITION: Sports Editor
    DEPARTMENT: Ingest
    REPORTS TO: Ingest Team Lead
    SHIFT: M-F 10-6:30p/ M-F 9-5:30p
    Hourly Rate: $15.50
    ROLE: Gracenote is looking for a sports-minded individual to research, create and enhance sports data for linear and streaming sports channels, serving as a sports liaison to the Ingest department and Gracenote business units around the globe.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Curate and enrich Sporting events and Sports Related data for mapping on linear sports channels
    Edits and maintains television schedules and database information for sports listings in US/Canada market
    Communicate internally to ensure accuracy and timely updating.
    Collaborate with SSC and editorial teams where necessary to ensure consistency across all Sports Content.
    Assist with tracking volume and level of effort, to effectively shift priorities
    Assists with seasonal projects such as NBA and NHL playoffs.
    Assists other Gracenote departments and clients with sports queries.
    Assists department manager/senior with special tasks as they arise.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Must be organized, possess multi-tasking ability and be attentive to detail.
    Must demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
    Must have knowledge of North American-based sports leagues; International sports knowledge a plus.
    Willing and able to participate in weekend on-call
