FeedOtter: Hands-On Head of Marketing (SaaS)

    We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled marketing professional to join our team as our Head of Marketing. 

    This unconventional role is for someone with deep expertise who can roll up their sleeves and get hands-on with executing marketing initiatives, while also providing strategic vision and thought leadership.

    We are a small team. You will work directly with the founder/ceo and be instrumental in moving the business forward. You will likely manage and oversee freelancers from time-to-time but most often you will be directly executing marketing tasks.


    Develop and execute marketing strategies that align with the company’s objectives, with a particular focus on digital marketing, content creation, and customer engagement
    Drive the creation of marketing content, including email newsletters, blog posts, and promotional materials, maintaining high standards of quality and engagement
    Hands-on management of marketing campaigns, from concept through execution and analysis
    Optimize our website and blog content for search engines and user experience
    Identify opportunities to repurpose and update existing content assets
    Conduct research and analysis to inform our overall marketing strategy
    Manage your workflow with significant autonomy, setting and adhering to your deadlines while remaining flexible to the company’s evolving needs


    5+ years of professional marketing experience, preferably in SaaS/tech
    Proven track record of executing successful hands-on marketing campaigns and initiatives
    Exceptional writing, editing, and content creation skills
    Deep expertise in SEO, email marketing, website optimization, and marketing analytics
    Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
    Outstanding problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities
    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field

    This is a high-level, hands-on individual contributor role perfect for an experienced marketing professional seeking significant responsibilities and the chance to showcase deep expertise – without managing direct reports. You will work directly on marketing projects and campaigns in a highly collaborative environment.


    Salary range is $90,000 to $120,000 based on experience..
